It’s called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe in it.

So grasp the light, the knowlegde, and grasp all that you fear and all of what you hold dear. To understand is a great joy a man can know, exceeded only by the temptation of having something new to understand next. Don’t shy away from the questions you have floating around in your mind; they are your tools of exploration, your Excalibur sword, your probing sphere, your boots, your tent, your compass pointing true. So go, get up, get up and go.

P.S. And don’t shy away from writing deep stuff while sitting on the toilet, even the greatest of men shat their pants here.

Farewell kids.

I do not know what comes after death, save for being certain it has nothing to do with any of current or past religions.

But that’s beside the point here.

I do not know what comes after death. So I can not think of a farewell to write or say that would make the murder of 27 people in #Danbury, 18 of which children, make any sense.

May your parents find the strength they now are lacking.

And you, kids…rest in peace.

…the lies that are currently being floated to justify regime change in both Syria and Iran by the same neocon[servatives] who produced the Iraq debacle should be treated with extreme skepticism and summarily rejected.

“Nationalism of one kind or another was the cause of most of the genocide of the twentieth century. Flags are bits of colored cloth that governments use first to shrink-wrap people’s minds and then as ceremonial shrouds to bury the dead.“

Mother Jones article: Another effort by an anti-“terrorist” agency to check every bit of data about everyone in the US, supposedly to track down terrorist-like behavior patterns.
Now they’ll finally discover the awful truth: I eat pizza with ketchup.

People have deteriorated ( knowledge wise ) to a point where a modern PhD would not be able to pass a Harvard entrance exam in the 19th century.
